This Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick is a treat!

It's been a while since I've posted about a lipstick, lipgloss, or any lip color in general. People often talk about that one beauty item they can't go without. For some, it's brows, for others mascara, but for me, it's always been lipstick.  

Recently I tried out the Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick and was impressed with the quality of this lipstick retailing at only $4.99. I can tell you based off personal experience that for a liquid lipstick that offers 12hour wear, Rimmel London delivers. It doesn't get dry or start flaking off your lips like other brands I've tried tend to do. These lipsticks are perfect for any food outing or even a girls night out. The color truly does stay put.

I absolutely Love lipstick. I can go on without barely any makeup on my face, but I must have some sort of tinted lips. Every season I try to rotate my lipsticks according to the seasons. Lately I've been all about matte lips too! For Fall/Winter I enjoy using darker, deeper shades. Below please enjoy my 4 favorite lipsticks so far this month for Fall/Winter.

**Tips**

-Always moisturize before wearing lip color to avoid chapped lips and peeling skin.
-For darker colors use a lip brush to stay in the lines better.

For my Lip Color of the Week I decided to review 3 colors from NYC New York Color Expert Last collection with launched Spring 2014 with 20 shades. I have been using Coralista, Snowcone and Smooch. You'll find a lip color for every occasion in this collection and it's an exciting line for Summer.

See the swatches below. To sum things up in a few words, I recommend you try these lipsticks out. They're fun and refreshing. For 1.99 each lipstick, it's definitely worth picking up a few shades.

For the love of makeup, I'm kicking off a beauty "Lip Color of the Week" segment on my blog and YouTube channel (Make sure to subscribe here) and I've started off by reviewing Lancôme Lip Lover #356 Belle De Rouge which is a Cherry Pink. Ideally I'd like you to watch the video but here and some quick things I can tell you about this metallic tube of goodness.

My experience and thoughts of Lancôme Belle De Rouge lip gloss.

• It's a 3 in 1 elixir that gives you shine and moisture.
• In my personal experience it delivers on its 8 hr moisture promise.
• It doesn't feel sticky or gross like a lot of lip glosses do.
• The pigment of this color is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised. 
• Lancôme does a great job with the packaging, it's on par. Very appealing and sleek.
• Doe footed applicator is nice and makes for easy application. 
• Provides you with a nice shimmery finish.

It's nice to have weather where you can loosen up a bit. I think the best kind of weather you can wish for is when you're able to wear long sleeves and still show your legs without being cold = PERFECTION.

I was sent a few products from the Aveda Heart Lands Collection a few weeks back and was so excited to try them out. 

It's always satisfying to know you're using quality products. I can always count on Aveda to carry merchandise that's infused with plant and fruit waxes and feel nice on my skin. It's good and important to know what you're putting on your face ladies!!! C'mon y'all.

I kind of created this look by improvising, it was fun and I was happy with the results. A bit heavy on the eyes and neutral lips. The Heart Lands collection has nomadic inspired eyes and rich colors.

I was looking for a medium toned color. Dark, but not quite there yet. This has become one of my favorite colors to wear. It compliments my skin tone and last a hours without retouching. Even when I don't retouch the color never fully fades it just gets a bit lighter... I like the thought of feeling like I never have a naked lip.

• Unlike a lot of lipstains which are usually drying, this is a balm stain which is excellent for "Winter dry lips". It keeps my lips pretty and moisturized. 
• The tip on the balm stain reminds me of a Crayola! You can check it out HERE. I find it easier to apply this way.
• They have 12 pretty shades available at only $8.99
• The pigmentation is good. 
• The balms are retractable, goodbye sharpener!
• I wouldn't recommend something I didn't really enjoy.
