I Don't Want To Grow Up. 

I love putting outfits together that look like they don't make sense. This outfit for example, a sporty Sanrio Hello Kitty light jacket, A long thrifted glitter skirt, a backwards DC Comics Wonder Woman baseball cap and a pair of H&M boot heels. Many people might not think this ensemble works but I totally dig it. It's always been a thing I do. I belong to the world of print mixers and color blockers. I take joy in the unconventional and encourage others to always think out the box and have fun. Be confident! I follow many bloggers who dress fun and spontaneously. It doesn't always have to be too crazy but I like to push traditional boundaries a bit. Fashion is suppose to be fun after all.

Sparkle My City Baby

A few days ago I went to the Prom Girl event which I posted about last week. This is what I wore to the event with the exception that I through these heels on to go out later (I had combat boots on earlier). I got home and freshened up a bit, I also sported the DIY hair comb I made at the table hosted by Grace Atwood.

 My leggings and colorful necklace are from the Forever 21 x Sanrio collection. I purchased a few things, I've been a long time Sanrio fan (ever since I was an itty bitty Nubia). The necklace is pretty cool, it has a few Sanrio characters in the shape of a pretzel! The design is by Onch who's popular for his pretzel shaped and very fun jewelry.

Let loose and live.  

It's nice to wake up everyday and feel good, isn't it? Such a hard thing to accomplish on a daily basis. I find that dressing in a more fun and less serious manner sometimes helps (check out this cool clothing site I found)

Take the outfit below for example, I have these nice Ann Klein loafers on, a DKNY cardigan with a faux fur collar (fancy right?) but I lightened up my mood a bit with my gla.MAR.ous beanie with a big sequin bow and my Hello Kitty x Street Fighter shirt. It may sound silly but unless I have a nice dinner or a special occasion going on, I like to just chill out most of the time (and still look good of course).

It seems Street Fighter (Capcom) has been keeping itself busy. A little while back I shared the Kineda/Street Fighter Collabo with you and now Sanrio!

Who doesn't love Sanrio?! Kawaii! I grew up buying Sanrio planners and pens and all sort of adorable accessories. One of my most recent favorite Sanrio characters is Hangyodon. I have a Mimobot with the Hangyodon character I carry around all the time.


The Sanrio Street Fighter collection goes beyond tee's, they have bookbags, wallets, phone covers and all other sorts of cuteness.
